Overview
The Megger DCM1500S is an AC/DC clamp multimeter for installing, maintaining, monitoring and testing photovoltaic systems and general AC/DC electrical equipment. It measures voltages up to 2000 V DC and 1500 V AC (true-RMS) and currents up to 1500 A AC/DC. It complies with IEC 61010-1 and IEC/EN 61010-2-033, with CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V ratings.
Beyond voltage and current, it measures resistance, diodes, capacitance, frequency, inrush current and temperature in °C/°F. It ranges automatically and has a DC amp zero function, a non-contact voltage seek mode and a high-frequency rejection filter. A torch built into the jaw lights up the work area in poor light.
